Bam Bam Slam developed from the notion that "practice makes perfect". But we all know that people can lack the enthusiasm of practicing without a goal to work towards. So, we wanted to find a way to motivate people to continually work on and improve upon their craft. We thought if we could create a community that all types of artists could tap into at any time, and where there was a constant goal to achieve, especially one with possible financial rewards- well, that would be... wicked. Just what everyone with lots of talent and no outlet had been searching for. The original idea was to build a global talent community, but it seemed that so many of those had already been done and to no avail. There didn't seem to be a site out there for artists to share their work with peers and receive instant feedback.

Inspirations:
At first, Bam Bam Slam was intended to be live performance competitions only. Unfortunately, after months of trial and error, it was evident that it could not be done under our time and budget constraints. Competing with pre-made videos instead seemed like the logical alternative. And subsequently, the idea branched out to be much more than a talent contest, but a contest for almost anything that can be recorded and watched and judged. We hired one of the best web development companies to build the site, and with a little luck and a lot of magic, hopefully Bam Bam Slam will become a fun tool for all people with the desire to create, perform, learn, and maybe make some dollar bills doing it.

Aspirations:
Thank you for being a part of something that we hope can revolutionize the way creative people create. Our hope is that it will be inspirational for anyone who has imagination, a vision, a computer.... and a need to let their light shine. Take note- this is only the beginning.
